A collaborative, trauma-informed space for LGBTQIA+, ENM/poly, kinky, and neurodivergent folks navigating complex trauma and attachment.
Hi, I'm Danie. As a queer, cisgender woman raised in Portland with a background in social work, I bring both personal and professional experience to our therapeutic relationship. My approach is collaborative, anti-oppressive, and deeply rooted in harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
My journey includes working with those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and incarceration in both Portland and Los Angeles, before transitioning to a focus on therapy with queer and neurodivergent folks with complex trauma. These experiences have shaped my commitment to radical authenticity and anti-oppressive work on the path to healing.
I work with individuals, couples, and relationship systems ages 18+ who are LGBTQIA+, ENM/poly, kinky, and trauma survivors. I support clients with identity and sexuality exploration, self-esteem, boundaries, relational issues, abuse trauma, C-PTSD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and shame.
I hold a special interest in aiding individuals grappling with attachment traumas, particularly those exploring non-monogamous relationships, kink, or their sexual or gender identity.
LGBTQIA+ folks navigating identity and relationships
People in ethically non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships
Kinky individuals seeking non-judgmental space for exploration
Neurodivergent people working through executive function and unmasking
Trauma survivors rebuilding self-trust and emotional regulation
Those exploring sexuality, identity, and authentic self-expression
Complex trauma rewires your brain around protective patterns and beliefs that once kept you safe. These experiences shape your behaviors, relationships, and core beliefs. My role is to help you recognize these patterns and create new pathways that align with your authentic self.
Healing isn't about erasing the past—it's about honoring how you've survived while creating space for something fuller. Like a fern slowly unfurling, this process happens naturally when given the right conditions.
Our work together may include:
Reframing self-talk and limiting beliefs
Building emotional regulation skills
Connecting current patterns to past experiences
Exploring values and aligning actions accordingly
Creating space for all parts of yourself—the messy, the contradictory, the "real"
Autonomy & Self-Determination
You decide what healing looks like
Radical Authenticity and non-judgment
A space where you never need to filter yourself
